Educating the Whole Child:
Mind, Body and Spirit.
What is RaiseRight?
RaiseRight (previously known as Together We're Better or scrip) is an ongoing fundraiser for St. Joseph school families and PTF. RaiseRight sells gift cards—both online and traditional plastic gift cards—that you can use at various retailers and restaurants rather than using a credit card or cash. Our gift cards are the same as you would find in any store.
How it works:
We carry a wide assortment of gift cards in stock, or you can set up an online account and purchase your RaiseRight gift cards from your home computer or mobile device. Each merchant sets their own discount to sell their cards. RaiseRight buys the cards at the discounted rate and sells the gift cards to you at face value. This difference is how RaiseRight raises its funds.
What happens to the proceeds?
The proceeds—the difference between the face value and the discounted purchase price—is how RaiseRight makes its profit.
You can designate your RaiseRight proceeds to go toward the following categories:
How do I set up my RaiseRight account online or in the app?
Check out this guide from RaiseRight for step-by-step instructions on setting up your account. Our school's enrollment code is: 87ADBL483568. Please also include either the name of at least one of the children whose tuition account you want to credit OR the name of the designated fund you'd like to support, so we know how to credit your payout.
Where can I buy the traditional (plastic) gift cards?
During the school week, you can purchase the cards from the Parish Office, or by sending an order (with payment) in to the School Office. On weekends, the cards are sold after select Sunday masses at St. Joseph and St. Agatha by a volunteer. You can no longer buy the plastic/physical gift cards online unless you select the "ship to home" option (additional shipping charges will apply).
Can I begin to accrue money toward family tuition before my child (or relative) enrolls?
Yes! Please contact the school office if you are interested in learning more. Note: Money accrued toward a child's tuition will go toward the school's general Tuition Assistance Fund if the child does not enroll.
What happens if my students have all graduated or our family leaves St. Joseph?
You can either designate the money accrued during the pay period to another family to count toward their tuition or designate the money to go toward a different RaiseRight fund; if you don't make a selection, the money will go toward the school's general Tuition Assistance Fund. You will not be given a check for funds accrued during a pay period once you no longer have children in attendance at the school.
