Educating the Whole Child:
Mind, Body and Spirit.
PreK3 offers your child a variety of opportunities to grow and learn. Our "Mother Goose Time" curriculum will help your child with social and emotional development, physical development, language and literacy, mathematics and reasoning, social studies, science, and creative development. Spanish, PE, and library are part of the weekly routine for our 3-year-olds. We offer lots of hands-on activities and enjoy dance and music once a month through the KinderDance program. Our 3-year-olds interact with the older students by being involved in our "Buddy Activities." They also attend Mass and religion classes.
PreK4 focuses on preparing students for Kindergarten. We strive to provide a faith-based, stimulating learning experience for all children. Students learn letters and their sounds, along with how to write the letters. We use the phonemic awareness curriculum, Heggerty, daily to help students develop phonological and phonemic awareness. Students also learn identification and writing of numbers 0-10. PreK4 students are taught Kindergarten-level Math to help prepare them for what they will learn in Kindergarten. Students participate in whole group and center activities throughout the day.
PreK4 will offer your child a variety of opportunities to grow and learn in a fun and risk-free environment. Your child will be allowed to explore and be an active participant in his/her learning. Children learn best by being actively involved in their own learning. We strive for all students to feel success and establish confidence in their abilities so they can learn and create in their own unique way. We work to inspire each child with a love of learning and living with an eager spirit and a creative outlook.
