Religion - Students will learn about God and all the miraculous things he has done by engaging in a hands-on curriculum. They will listen to Bible stories while creating a bible.
Phonics and Reading - Students are exposed to many different text types. They explore letters through a print-rich environment. Students learn to identify and manipulate sounds. Our program consists of Saxon Phonics and Journey's Language Arts.
Writing - Students develop early writing skills that help them to become confident writers. Students learn early writing, personal narrative, descriptive, story writing, and how-to writing.
Math - Students are exposed to a hands-on enriched curriculum. The key features include: problem-solving skills, number development, measurement, geometry, and data analysis. The students are exposed to hands-on math lessons everyday. They can explore math concepts by having manipulatives readily available.
Science - Students will explore the environment using their senses. They are encouraged to investigate by asking questions and participating in experiments. Many aspects of science are introduced, including life, physical, earth, and space.
Social Studies - Students will focus on their experiences with their families, school, community, and government. They will listen to stories about famous historical people, national holidays, and national symbols.
Art - Students will learn about shapes, colors, and patterns. They will learn to create art based on memory, imagination, and observation. They will make paintings, prints, and collages.
