Educating the Whole Child:
Mind, Body and Spirit.
Speech Team
Students in 5th through 8th grades can participate on the school speech team. There are two Diocesan Speech Meets over the course of the school year. The speech coach helps students decide whether humorous monologues, serious monologues, or duet acting is best suited to their style of presentation.
Student Council
Representatives from the 4th through 8th grades are elected to serve on the Student Council. Members elect a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, and a teacher serves as the adult sponsor. The Student Council plans activities for the students as well as service activities in the community. In addition to planning activities, the Student Council is responsible for funding the activities. Student Council activities must receive approval from the sponsor and the school principal, as well as the teachers when warranted.
The 2023-2024 Student Council members are (from left): Ella Hopkins, vice president; Elin Row, class representative; Lydia Heap, president; Lilly Wriston, secretary; Kenzie Thomas, treasurer; and Cora Waeltz, class representative.
Choir
Students in 3rd through 8th grade are able to pariticpate in choir. Thank you to Mrs. Schlitt for working with our students!
Clubs
During the school year, students from across all grade levels participate in a rotating set of clubs during the school day. Past clubs have included service club, food club, and games club (shown below). The clubs provide an opportunity for the older and younger students to spend time together.
