Chess Club (1st - 8th grades) Students meet twice a month during flex time. Inexperienced players learn the basics of the game while intermediate players focus on new strategies. Students confident in their skills will participate in local competitions with other school Chess programs.
Computer Club (3rd-8th grades) Students meet in the computer lab twice a month. Students participate in a variety of activities each month.
Get Fit and Go with God (3rd-8th grades) Students meet twice a month in the Fall to discuss a Bible verse or inspirational quote and how it can be applied to our lives. There is also some type of physical activity that takes place each session.
Girl Scouts (K-8th grade girls) Girl Scouts meet twice a month on Mondays 3:15-4:15 pm in the Parish Center. The girls take part in fun, exciting, and educational field trips throughout the year. Various badges are earned when requirements are fulfilled.
Math Club (3rd - 8th grades) This club meets once a month to work on mathematical puzzles and games.
Newsletter Club (7th and 8th grades) This club meets every Friday in the computer to compile a monthly newsletter of the latest happenings at St. Joseph Catholic School.
Science Club (5th - 8th grades) This club includes additional opportunities to partake in Science instruction. Occasionally, this time is tied with the unit covered in class, but other times it provides new instruction for students to explore the world of Science.
Student Council (4th - 8th grades) Any student in grades 5-8 may hold an office in Student Council. Any 4th grade student may run for class representative. During the once a month meeting, they discuss ways to improve the school as well as serve the community.
