The purpose of the St. Joseph Catholic School athletics program is to provide a social outlet for the children, to teach basic skills of the game, and to teach Christian sportsmanship while developing a positive attitude towards themselves and their teammates.  The sports program is a part of the school curriculum and reflects the philosophy of the school.

St. Joseph Catholic School provides soccer for all grades K-8; girls and boys volleyball for grades 5-8; girls and boys basketball for grades 5-8; and track for grades 5-8.  4th grade students will be permitted to “play up” in basketball, volleyball, and track if the participation numbers allow.  The number of interested students and availability of coaches determines the number of teams per sport.  Expansion into other sports such as baseball or softball depends upon student interest and parent participation.
